Salary charts - a tool to exercise control over your own career
Boeing provides SPEEA with data related to every bargaining unit members’ salary. SPEEA professional staff analyze the data looking for patterns of potential discrimination and to ensure that the negotiated salary pools are applied in full to the bargaining unit. Additionally, SPEEA staff produce tools in the form of salary charts for SPEEA members. The detailed salary charts are a valuable tool for SPEEA members to see how their salaries are progressing and to help with conversations about performance and career management. This chart illustrates how salaries have grown over the past several years for every engineer in the bargaining unit since 2013. For example, employees who are under 30 years old as of March of this year, on average, have had their salaries increased over 50% since 2013. How does that compare with your salary growth?
Note: The vast majority of SPEEA members whose data is shown reside in the Puget Sound. The negotiated salary increases are based on issues of represented employees, which, among other things, reflect the cost of living in the Puget Sound.
